I’m excited to announce that I have joined the faculty in the Department of American Studies at SUNY Old Westbury as an adjunct professor in the media and communications sequence.

This fall, I will be teaching a class called Making a Newspaper/Magazine. The class will cover reporting/writing, editing, photography, and page design. During the 14-week course, I will be teaching students the fundamentals of print journalism.

Joining SUNY Old Westbury marks the first time I’ve been in front of a classroom since 2015, when I taught English and Speech Communication classes at Southern Technical College in Tampa, Fla.
